NEWS: Noitasapatti escape the ritual?

After two demos, a split album with Hollow Corpse and a debut full length in “Kuolemattomille maille”, the time has come for more Burzum influenced screams and 1990’s inspired Black Metal with hints of Death, Doom and Viking Metal from Noitasapatti. They have shared “Paluu liekkeihin” (or “Back to the flames“) from a sophomore album “Sankarin matka” (or “a hero’s journey“) set for a 29th November release via Inverse Records. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comments: “Paluu liekkeihin is the first single from the album “Sankarin matka”. It is a good example of the band’s versatile song writing that moves between atmospheres, and the track has found its place as the final song at our shows. “Paluu liekkeihin” consists of aggressive parts mixed together with more melodic and atmospheric ones, therefore it is a great piece for introducing the band to a broader audience. The lyrics paint an oppressive picture of a world in ruins, slowly ceasing to exist.”
