A fourth single from “Acolythus” ahead of it’s 7th November release confirms that the forthcoming album from Canadian Deathcore merchants A Scar For The Wicked will deliver relentless brutality, intricate compositions alongside a dark, thought provoking narrative. Titled “Sacrificial Genocide“, the song tells a chilling tale of a deceiver who preys on devout followers of Christ, presenting himself as the second coming. Promising salvation, he leads his victims into drinking poisoned wine disguised as the blood of Christ, resulting in a tragic mass suicide within the church. As the souls of the deceived are harvested, the deceiver transcends to a higher, more sinister form—embodying both the theological and existential consequences of fraud and betrayal.
