NEWS: Exision swim in dark waters!
As a band, how do you go about making the choice of which cuts to pre-release from your next album? Surely each one is like your child and inseparable? For Finnish Alternative Groove Metal band Exision their choices have been made simple. Two guest vocal appearances, two singles, done. The first, “Persona Non Grata”, saw them joined by Garden of Stone vocalist Jesse Salo and now for the second “Pimeyden Aallot” (or “Waves of Darkness“) the opportunity is given to Sirkku-Sisko Kostamo. Their upcoming second studio album “Uhreina Ajassa“ (or “As Victims in Aja“) is set for release on 20th February 2025 via Inverse Records. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp
The band comment: “What does it feel like when something or someone that’s been with you for nearly 20 years suddenly isn’t there anymore? The track goes through the motions of sorrow, anxiety and longing in the form of music and looks towards a future where one can enjoy the good memories that are left.”
