Interview: Whitechapel talk “Hymns in Dissonance” with Belgian Jasper!

After a pair of albums that pushed their sonic boundaries, Knoxville Tennessee Deathcore collective Whitechapel are preparing to unveil “Hymns in Dissonance” on 7th March via Metal Blade. When they performed at Bloodstock Open Air Festival last summer their set was distinctly heavier and that has been the case with the cuts that have been previewed from the album. So it should come as no surprise that in this interview with guitarist Alex Wade, Belgian Jasper uncovers the fact that the record is actually somewhat of a thematical sequel to 2008’s “This is Exile“, the three-word title representing that correlation.
