NEWS: Chainsword begin the march!
Something wicked this way comes as Polish Old School Death Metal soldiers Chainsword are on the death march once more. Inspired lyrically by both world wars of the previous century and Warhammer 40k and sonically by the 90’s scene, they began building their empire in 2016, spreading the flames of conflict to create a Death Doom inferno. A new album “Chapter XII” is being prepared for 6th May with “Primarch” the first shot in anger.
The band comment: “The track ‘Primarch’ tells the story of Angron, known as the Red Angel, one of the Emperor’s twenty sons. Before being found by the Empire, he grew up in captivity, forced to fight as a gladiator, which shaped his brutal nature. As the Patriarch of the World Eaters, he was fierce and cruel, surpassing all his brothers. During the Horus Heresy, he abandoned the Emperor, giving in to his uncontrollable lust for blood and destruction. Ultimately, he gave his soul to Khorne, the Lord of Skulls, becoming his most powerful champion… A symphony of war – the roar of chain swords, the clamour of battle, annihilation to the rhythm of war drums. In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war. Blood for the Blood God. Skulls for the Skull Throne.”
