NEWS: Heavensgate find their own way out of Melbourne!

After the previous announcements that Heavensgate would be touring the US with Thrown, Varials and No Cure before an Australian tour with Chelsea Grin, Currents and Bloom in 2025 there was always the sneaking suspicion that some bigger news was on the horizon. That has now reared its ugly head with their signing to Pure Noise Records in partnership with Greyscale Records, the news of which is accompanied by an obligatory single. Titled “Oblivion“, the track is mixed and mastered by Lance Prenc (Void Of Vision, Polaris, Alpha Wolf) with co-producer credits for Christopher Vernon (Deadlights, Belle Haven, Better Half) and Loathe guitarist Erik Bickerstaffe.

The band comment: “Oblivion is the collapse of everything around them whilst all they have is each other. Although the story we are telling is of a relationship with a significant other, the lyrics are crafted in a sense to allow the listener to relate to similar hardships. Whether that be with another loved one, substance or any other form of dependence”

“It’s been incredibly exciting to sign with a label like Pure Noise Records. Being amongst their calibre of artists that we’ve looked up to for years, with a team that believes in our vision is very encouraging as we take this next step with them. The band collectively felt a “pinch me” moment the minute we signed and everything was official. Looking ahead, we know Heavensgate is in great hands with the collaboration between Pure Noise Records and Greyscale Records.”
