NEWS: Hilltops Are For Dreamers warm us on the first day of winter!
Just over a year after their last burnt offering in EP “The Tragedy Of Being Human“, London’s Greek Alternative Metal collective Hilltops Are For Dreamers have given us a glimpse of the shape of punk to come. Known for an eclectic mix of Black Metal with acoustic blues melodies, progressive song structures and Post Hardcore roots their new single “The First Day Of Winter” has more to it than meets the eye (or should that be ear?). If you like what you hear you can find the song and the rest of the bands discography over at bandcamp.
Mastermind Vasilis Papageorgakopoulos comments: “The First Day of Winter’ is a hard rock/alternative metal song about losing faith and rediscovering self-belief to spark personal change. It’s one of the most straightforward songs we’ve ever written, with a chorus that sticks with you from the first listen. The single’s artwork features a photograph taken in Swedish Lapland, which we felt perfectly captures the essence of the lyrics and the overall vibe of the track.”
