NEWS: Transmuter reform for “Apokatastasis”!

Taking their name from the process of transmutation, meaning to change the properties of an object, Romanian Black Metal band Transmuter, have released their first new material in two years with single “Apokatastasis“. Their object is of course music and they’re not a band for purists having influences in Thrash, Melodic, Death and Progressive Metal, something which has made them stand apart from the wolf pack baying for blood at the gates of hell. Transmuter sings about deception, nihilism, alchemy, the journey of the self into the past seen as through the eyes of Caiaphas, who narrates the story. The single is available in limited edition cassette format here.

“Apokatastasis” is the continuation of the story told in 2023 EP “From Caiaphas To The Grave“, where Caiaphas passes through all the Gates to meet the Creator, to understand the act of creation, knowledge and the magic of the world. Dissatisfied with the Creator’s smallness, Caiaphas manages to go all the way to the creation of the world, managing to find all the answers by himself. Thus, after the experience he had, Caiaphas decides to overthrow the creator and, instead of taking his place, brings everything to the stage prior to his existence. His mission will be to present the world as it is, unaltered by the idea of ​​the existence of gods.
