NEWS: Sudden Death join the wheel…
Following the impact of first single “Human Death Machine” the fourth album “In Sinner Hate” from Roman Death Metal act Sudden Death stepped into the highly anticipated category. A 19th May arrival via Time To Kill Records, it appears twenty eight years after they began their journey down the left hand path. Mixed and mastered by Stefano “Saul” Morabito (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance, Hideous Divinity) with additional recordings by Marco “Cinghio” Mastrobuono (Hour Of Penance, Shores Of Null) and Giuseppe Orlando (Novembre, Stormlord), “The Torture Wheel” is the second single…
The band comment on the single: “The Torture Wheel is a song that addresses the theme of sadism. In a hellish scenario, victims are tortured in an endless cycle, impaled on a constantly rotating toothed wheel, a metaphor for the inexorable monotony of life”
And on the album: ““In Sinner Hate”, a composition of words whose sound is reminiscent of “Incinerate”, but which ultimately takes on the meaning of “In sinner’s hate”, is the title of the Sudden Death’s fourth and most recent album, written by Luis Maggio. In this new musical effort, the themes take on a more introspective character; concepts such as violence, monotony, loneliness, alienation, respectability, hardship and more global topics such as war, pollution and social isolation are explored in their most visceral forms. Compared to previous albums, although maintaining some aspects of the claustrophobic, minimalist and massive compositional line that always characterized the old Sudden Death, the music focuses on more intricate directions, made up of joints and solutions for which the guitars often intertwine, playing riffs at the same time different and in harmony with each other, and then rejoining in a common line.”
