NEWS: Death Rattle embrace the darkness?

After completing an extensive touring itinerary including US dates with Ashes of the Priest, European shows with Gorgoroth and Japanese moments with Left to Die, American Groove Metal purveyors Death Rattle have returned to their album “The Moral Chokehold” to unveil a music video for “The Darkness“. Produced by Kevin Billingslea (Lamb of God, Trivium) before mixing and mastering by Jens Bogren (Amon Amarth, Kreator) the album is everywhere you’d expect it to be courtesy of M-Theory Audio. Other band name check count 7. Impressive eh?

The band comment: ““The Darkness” is collectively one of our most favorite songs from ‘The Moral Chokehold.’ Not only is it the closer for the record, but also the closer for our live sets. Born from a couple of Ryan’s riff ideas, it quickly grew to a much larger, and diverse song as everyone put their fingerprints on it. There are the elements of the groove, and aggression that Death Rattle does well, but also has more relaxed moments, a huge catchy chorus, and a very progressive climax
