NEWS: Erebor resurface with “Infinitus Somnium”!

A long awaited sophomore album from Durham England’s Progressive Technical Death Metal act Erebor looks set to be the hottest thing to arrive this summer on the evidence of “Infinitus Somnium I – The Endeavour“, the first slice of the pie. 4th July is the scheduled release date for “Infinitus Somnium“, a concept record in three movements as the band go on to explain. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: “Back in 2017, around the release of our single ‘The Stillness of Unending Sleep’, we were given a challenge. This challenge being to write a song based on the phrase ‘captured moments in a jar of infinite dreams’. Our new full-length record, Infinitus Somnium, is the result of this undertaking. Clocking in at 43 minutes, the three songs that comprise this album detail the path to the divine, and easily stand as the most progressive, melodic, and dynamic in our catalogue. A huge amount of effort was put into every note, every chord progression, every drum fill, and every lyric. We couldn’t be more proud of the final result.”
