NEWS: Alfa Pentatonik cough once more…

A collaboration between multi instrumentalist mastermind JP Immonen (Walhalla, Aria of Sorrow, Iron Frost) and vocalist Janne Partanen (Hautajaisyö,  Verilehto, Marraskuun Lapset), Finnish Industrial Metal band Alfa Pentatonik (Formed in 2002 as Pentatonik) are about to embark on a new chapter. EP “Gamma II” is set for a grand unveiling via Inverse Records on 18th July with both Sami Lindqvist (Welholinna) and Harri Hytönen (Armada North, Fenyx Rising, Clown Parade) adding guitar solos on two tracks a piece. The first shot in anger is “Kone yskii” (or “The Medicine Coughs“).

The band comments: “The video single ‘Kone yskii’ is one of the band’s most ‘pop’ songs, and we joke that it could be an ‘Eurovision’ entry. In this catchy song, we follow humankind’s last survivor: a cyborg who has forgotten what it means to be human.”
