NEWS: Devilhusk float like a Jellyfish and sting like a hornet?

Ahead of their appearance at Midsommar Murder Festival at The Dev in Camden on 21st June, Brighton heavy hitters Devilhusk have shared a second single. Taking its name from a small, almost invisible jellyfish with a potent sting – as a powerful metaphor for the insidious and overwhelming nature of anxiety – “IRUKANDJI” follows “I See God” out from Hell’s gate accompanied by a striking 80’s slasher movie-inspired music video produced by DEAD.EYE.MEDIA.. as if that wasn’t enough to get excited about the Nu-Metalcore merchants have EP “Sleep Like The Dead” due out in July…

The band comment: “‘IRUKANDJI’ is the most jarring follow up we could come up with after our debut single, ‘I SEE GOD’. Can’t get complacent, y’know? It’s not a focused disdain, it feels closer to an irrational outburst. The majority of it was written in one long session the midst of a first hand panic attack, and it reflects that. This one isn’t vague or obscure about what it is, it’s kicking and screaming for it’s life.”
