NEWS: Optical Sun feel the fear!

In music created by Optical Sun, slow heavy riffs are accompanied by vocal samples from old Polish movies such classics as art horror movie ‘Diabel‘ (translated: ‘Devil‘) by Andrzej Zulawski, “Przyjaciel Wesołego Diabła” directed by Jerzy Lukaszewicz, and “Pan Twardowski” from 1936. Two basses are used – one as part of the rhythm section and the second for solos with lyrics being poems by an old polish poet. Together those elements build a very dark, gloomy and tension filled sound. The Lublin natives have unveiled ‘Strach‘ (translated: ‘fear‘) from their upcoming new album “Diabel“, an 11th September release…

The band comment: ““Strach” is about a basic, primal human instinct that accompanies us from birth to death. Fear is unique in that it is independent of us. With experience, it allows itself to be shaped, but it can never be fully tamed.”
