NEWS: Rabidfest announce The Fright Before Rabidfest!

Get ready for a nightmare you won’t soon forget. For the second year running a Rabidfest have announced show on the night before Oxfords biggest Metal weekender. Dubbed “The Fright Before Rabidfest” it will take place at The Jericho Tavern on the evening Friday 31st October with tickets sold separately to the main event. So who do they have lined up?

Having conquered North America for a second time London Metalcore heroes Confessions Of A Traitor will be headlining as part of the album launch tour for their incredible new record “This Pain Will Serve You“. Joining them will be ferocious technical metalcore outfit Ocean Planet, a band who survived last year’s main weekend by the skin of their teeth. Black Country Metal heads Imperial Avenue make their sonic brew to Oxford after cuts like “Slaves To Society” made an impact and last but not least Surrey Metalcore merchants Along The Pines will hit us where it hurts. As it’s Halloween it will be an event that encourages you to wear a costume with prizes for the best dressed so it’s time to dust off those false fangs and order up a fresh batch or corpse paint if you want to grab some spooky swag!

When it comes to the main event, Rabidfest itself will take place at The Bullingdon in Oxford over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd November 2025. There are still bands to announce because there will be no less than 10 each day attempting to reduce the venue to rubble but here’s the line up so far…
