NEWS: Shadows lurk in the Shadows…!

What happens when former members of such notable acts as Visceral Bleeding, The Berzerker, Enshrined and Ominous unite in a dark, damp basement torcher chamber hell? They start a German/Swedish Blackened Death Metal band called Shadows and record a debut album titled “Miseria“, proudly presenting nine songs of unrelenting misanthropy as it they were made of solid gold. That will be given to an unsuspecting World on 29th August with not one but two singles currently in cyberspace in “Lamia” and “As Above So Below“.

The band comments: “Miseria aims to explore the vast uncaring nothingness and explore the dread of our futile existence. If you are looking for release or redemption you won’t find them here. The album is unmistakably rooted in the Scandinavian black and death metal but delivers it with its own signature. It is crushing and suffocating but also melodic and solemn.”
