NEWS: Serpent God prepare a sermon!

What do you do when you have written a collection of material you’re very happy with that doesn’t fit into the spectrum of your existing project? You birth another project to offer it life of course! That’s how Serpent God came to exist, offering Extreme Metal with influences from Post-Rock, Doom and the avant-garde, thoughts that are outside of the realms of Se, josta ei puhuta. Their debut album “denial“ will see the cold light of day on 10th October via Inverse Records and “sermon” is the third single you can hear in advance. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comments: ”Sermon on blood, sermon on death – The song is up-beat and has a bit of threatening and eerie feeling to it. Lots of classic 90’s Swedish metal elements as building blocks. Starts with heavy double kicks and heavy riffing, no questions asked. Backing choirs create ritualistic or religious vibes to the song. Life is a one long and painful ritual after all. “Like an iron mask forged in brimstone, finished in the flames of hellfire.”
