NEWS: Gorotica announce “Daily Grind of the Medieval Age”!
After the events of 2022’s “Morbid Menagerie“, Sydney Australian Medieval Cannibalistic Deathgrind purveyors Gorotica have been steadily releasing singles. Happily it turns out that the unholy trinity of vicious little snappers were the tip of the iceberg as the band have announced those songs as part of an eighteen strong magnum opus of an album. “The Triumph of Death” by Pieter Bruegel the Elder serves as the cover artwork for “Daily Grind of the Medieval Age” and while we will have to wait until 3rd October for it in all it’s glory, “Sage, Clove and Powdered Bone” is now streaming.
If the title didn’t give it away, the track is a tale of necro cannibalistic rituals, questionable recipes and shoddy sorcery practices, in the hopes of raising a corpse back from the dead to become a grisly “fresh” meal. A mid-paced, old school inspired Death Metal piece with a nice bit of Doom Groove about it, we just need a bit of Franks Red hot sauce to make it palatable. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.
