NEWS: Valontuoja step outside the circle?

A specialist in conjuring an atmosphere that is as brutal as it is beautiful, guiding listeners through the desolate realms of human despair and nature’s unforgiving majesty, Finnish one-man Black Metal entity Valontuoja is about to return. Multi instrumentalist and vocalist Jal’zoroth has completed work on a second album “Tulesta Syntynyt” (or “Born Of Fire“) which is set for a 14th November 14th release date via Inverse Records. The first evidence of that is “Ympyrä joka syö itseään” (or “a circle that eats itself“).

Jal’zoroth comments: “From the depths of the withered forest, where roots bleed skyward and the dead sing through stone-choked lungs, emerges a hymn to entropy. “Ympyrä Joka Syö Itseään” is a black metal descent into the sacred void, where silence turns inward, where gods remain unnamed, and where birth itself is only death in disguise. This is the sound of a frozen serpent devouring itself in slow ritual. This is hunger eternal. This is the forest that swallows all.”
