NEWS: Inborn Tendency love the praying mantis!

Produced in collaboration with Juho Koskinen (Marras, Liquid Stones Dancing) who was also responsible for mixing and mastering their entire debut album “Heritage“, Inborn Tendency have shared a fifth and final advanced single in “Flesh Eater”. Alongside the new single, the band has also announced the official release date of that album: 9th January 2026 via Inverse Records.

Drummer Hugo Tiitinen comments: “‘Flesh Eater’ marks an important milestone for us, as it’s the final track before the full album release. Although the journey to this point has been long – and in some ways perhaps different from a ‘typical’ album-making process – we’re extremely happy with the result. At this stage, it really feels like things had to happen exactly the way they did. We’re glad we didn’t rush the album, because in the end, it’s the result that matters. We were debating between a couple of tracks for the final single, but once we received the final mix of ‘Flesh Eater,’ the decision was clear. The track just hits insanely hard – if we may say so ourselves”

“Pre-orders for the album will begin soon, and it’s important to us that those who want it can get the album already this year. We promised the album for this year, and pre-order customers of the physical release will indeed be able to hear it already in December. The official release date is set for early next year, and we’re really excited – both about the release itself and the upcoming shows. It’s amazing to finally play these new songs live for the first time. We also have an album release show coming up, which will take place in Kuopio on January 31st – the exact venue will be announced later. Stay tuned on social media!”
