NEWS: Shields announce “Death & Connection”!

Featuring guest appearances from Harvey Freeman of Graphic Nature and Taylor Barber of Left To Suffer, a new album from Shields could well be one of the early highlights of 2026. Titled “Death & Connection“, the record is of course the long awaited follow up to 2018’s “Life In Exile” and will see the cold light of day on 30th January via Long Branch Records. There are four singles including “Wolfskin” currently in cyberspace and pre-orders are available over at bandcamp

The band comment: “‘Death & Connection’ is a body of work born from the absence of the people who no longer hold space in our lives. This record was created from a necessity to express and soothe our deepest losses; however, that was never the intention – we simply set out to make an album we wanted to hear.
