NEWS: Zygnema Vs Eloy Casagrande!

Mumbai India based Heavy Metal force Zygnema decided to challenge themselves by recording their own rendition of “Territory” by Sepultura using a drum playthrough by their former drummer Eloy Casagrande as the starting point. Mixed and mastered by Vidit Shah at The Scale Studios and featuring Didgeridoo and Moorsing recorded by Shrikant Rao, they’ve injected new life into a classic.

The band comment: “We found this incredible drum play-through of ‘TERRITORY’ by the legend himself. We decided to add a little bit of our own flavor to it and opted for a heavier approach. 

This track is from Sepultura’s Chaos AD album, which was released in 1993 under Roadrunner / Epic Records. Composed by Max Cavelara, Igor Cavelara, Andreas Kisser & Paolo Jr.

We got to play Wacken 2012, and Sepultura was on the lineup as well. We saw Eloy smash the set, and the whole crowd went crazy. This was 13 years ago. As hardcore Sepultura fans, we decided to try something different on this insane drum performance by the man himself. 

Now we all know Eloy is playing for SLIPKNOT, and Sepultura is just about to wind up their final leg of their last tour”
