NEWS: Crystal Lake suffer from insomnia?
It’s crazy to think that Japanese Metalcore merchants Crystal Lake have been bringing Metal to the Masses since 2002, crossing borders and boundaries between Metallic Hardcore, Metalcore and Deathcore influences for the past twenty three years. Now signed to Century Media and armed with American vocalist John Robert Centorrino, the outfit are preparing to unleash a long awaited new album. We’ve already had a trio of singles from the record which features guest vocal appearances from Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, David Simonich of Signs Of The Swarm, Karl Schubach of Misery Signals, Taylor Barber of Left To Suffer and former Bury Your Dead vocalist Myke Terry who is of course in Volumes and Fire From The Gods. So how about another single? How about the one with Myke Terry? “Neversleep” is now streaming.
Guitarist and founder YD shares about the single: “This track is the one where I poured in the Hardcore/Metal/Punk elements that I’ve carried as my own background to the limit. It’s simple, but with an extra twist, and at times hybrid arrangements, updating it into the kind of extreme sound that represents the current Crystal Lake. Every part of the song is made for you to dance, so don’t think too much — just feel it and enjoy. Stay heavy.”
A co-headlining run will see Japanese Metalcore merchants Crystal Lake and Americans Miss May I go head to head from Utrecht to Birmingham. They’ll be joined by Great American Ghost and Diesect for the purpose…
