NEWS: The Zenith Passage premier “Fleshbound Reliquary”!

…with five shows left of their North American tour with Entheos, Fallujah and Tracheotomy,  Progressive Death Metal heroes The Zenith Passage have let Metal Blade Records uncloak a new single in “Fleshbound Reliquary”. Mixed and mastered by Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Allegaeon, Archspire) it serves as the band‘s first new material since their 2023 critically acclaimed “Datalysium” album as well as the first song with drummer Maximillian Sepulveda.

Vocalist Derek Rydquist comments: “’Fleshbound Reliquary‘ depicts a world and existence where resources have been so ravaged that we are forced to look towards ourselves as the means of production for what comes next.”

Guitarist Justin McKiney adds: “Musically, the track features a series of tightly interlocked rhythmic motifs executed with laser precision, all within a traditional song structure. The piece is primarily in 3, culminating in a grand, climactic resolution of the main motif that transitions into a powerful 4 feel for an epic close.”
