Argubably lyrically the most ambitious piece on forthcoming EP “As Time Awaits” by Unburier, “Abyssal Uncertainty” draws influence from existential and cosmic literature with nods to grand masters in the likes of Albert Camus and H. P. Lovecraft. The track follows a trapped labourer’s descent into madness as he confronts the absurdity of his life and death, reflecting on the experience of anyone forced to surrender their nature in service of another’s greed and the longing for a world where life can be lived on one’s own terms.
