NEWS: Will DeathAssault remain after the apocalypse?

Having premiered single “We Will Remain” in music video form at the end of November, Plymouth quintet DeathAssault have confirmed their self titled debut album waits on the horizon for a 13th February arrival. That’s Friday 13th aka Fright Night. If their 2023 EP and subsequent live performances in support of the likes of Escuela Grind, Vampires Everywhere and Tortured Demon are anything to go by, the expectation is of a sonic assault that thrives on chaos, emotion, and unpredictability.

The band comment: ““We Will Remain” started off as a poem about being in DeathAssault. The brotherhood and bond that we share with one another and undying love we have for each other. This meaning expand with time as a message. A statement to the band and the community that we stand united against adversity… together.”

Frontman Darrell Baker adds: “This album isn’t just a collection of songs. It’s a statement. This is who we are—raw and real. It’s a musical interpretation of our souls, minds, and beliefs. We want people to think—about the world, about themselves, and about what they’ve done in life. This is DeathAssault.”
