NEWS: Gravemass cast themselves into the flames!

If you’ve seen the line up for this years incarnation of Loud As Hell Open Air Festival and wondered who Gravemass are then let us share some knowledge. As witnessed at last years Armstrong Metal Fest, Gravemass are a super-group of both former and current members of such bands as Zimmers Hole, Punch Drunk, 3 Inches of Blood, Revocation, Savannah, Process, The Golers, Subversion and Just Cause to name but a few. Hailing from Vancouver the anonymous five piece have inked a deal with End Game Records for the release of their debut album “This Is the Way”, something you can get your greasy paws on around 6th March. Built on brutal guttural vocals, high‑speed assault, extreme aggression, and unyielding sonic violence, every track has been engineered to overwhelm, punish, and dominate. It is the culmination of decades of experience across the West Coast metal scene, sharpened for incision, it has been preceded by not only the title track but an eponymous  one too.

Guitarist Mayan Hate: “The band is made of West Coast metal heads from the Vancouver scene who have known each other for decades. I wrote the music over two months in between project breaks. I presented it to Lord Heathen, who immediately wanted to be part of the project. We recruited the rest of the band, people we’ve all known forever”

Vocalist Lord Heathen: “This music is Brutal, angry, fast, dark, and evil. If you like brutal… You will dig it”
