NEWS: Catalysis premier “Deathblow”!

The punches simply keep coming from Scottish Metalcore Kings Catalysis with “Deathblow” the latest in a long line of third round knock outs with not so new vocalist Andrew Downie at the helm. The track is their first new material of 2026 and curiously enough shares similar artwork to it’s predecessor “Tremor” so perhaps there is something bigger mixed and mastered by Hans Peter Solen on the horizon.

The band comment: “Musically furious, and penned collaboratively between guitarists Drew Cochrane and Jamie Paterson, the song is fast and aggressive, whilst still featuring the signature melodies Catalysis is known for. Vocalist Andrew Downie comments that lyrically, the song targets ‘moral leaders’ who exploit their own followers for personal gain. It’s a middle finger to the architects of abuse and a call to arms for everyone else”
