Described as an act of rebellion against a world that seeks to condemn our lives to oblivion, submerging us in distractions and waste, reducing us to a dehumanized herd, a new album from Italian Death Metallers Chronic Hate waits in the wings. A 29th May release date has been agreed for “Defeating The Oblivion Of Life” to arrive via Time To Kill Records with “The Wrong” the first glimpse. Intricate, well-constructed riffs, impressive technical skill without descending into empty showmanship, and a subtle atmospheric layer that occasionally hints at blackened currents await.
