NEWS: Catalysis call Samuel L. Jackson!

Ahead of a Spanish tour in May and appearances at Festivals including Call of The Wild, Northants Rocks and Hammerdown, Scottish Metalcore titans Catalysis will be giving us the gift of EP “Serpentine” on 17th April. It’s the second record from a rebuilt line up following last year’s EP “The Only Way Out Is Through” with original guitarist Drew Cochrane and drummer Calum Rennie joined once more by vocalist Andrew Downie, guitarist Jamie Paterson and bassist Robi Islam. The latest single from that is the title track and be warned it’s a scorcher.

The band comment: “Exploring themes of coercion and betrayal, the track charts the path of a manipulator who sheds their skin only to find a new victim. It’s a heavy riff fest, an aggressive look at the cycle of destruction, from the “silver-forked tongue” to the final, suffocating constriction.”
