Having announced the arrival of new members Taylor Brown and Rowan Jack to replace the departing Luke Genders and David Silver in February it comes as no surprise that the Defects are now offering up what appears on the surface to be a second single from a sophomore album. Titled “Artificial Icons” this new cut follows “Heresy” out of the gate although how much involvement the new pairing had in its creation by the Slam Dunk 2025 survivors remains a mystery.
