NEWS: Vulgar Mephitis love to disorientate!

Having disturbed us with their debut self titled EP in 2022, Pittsburgh Brutal Death Metal skull splitters Vulgar Mephitis have inked a deal with Willowtip Records for the release of debut album “From Dust” on 11th September. Mixed and mastered by Sasha Borovykh (Emasculator, Fixation on Suffering, Into the Ashes) at Tsun Tsun Productions, the approach is to disorientate with violent tempo disruption and dissonant riff angularity. Guitarist Dan Martin: “The main difference in songwriting from the 2022 EP to now would be the addition of myself and Nick Bentzel (drums) stepping into the band, which expanded upon the way songs are structured in general. Previously, the writing process was solely done by Jay Schweinberg (bass) and Jacob Toy (vocals). At the time, the idea was to be a straight up brutal band with linear song structures.”
