NEWS: Ulthima listen for the sound of silence!

A second single in “Echoes of Silence” has emerged from an as yet undated album titled “Midnight’s Call” by Finnish-Mexican Melodic Death Metal ambassadors Ulthima. The band made their name with 2021 album “Symphony of the Night” and began work on this sophomore effort in 2024 with Inverse Records set to handle the distribution. Their roots go back to 2010 in Monterrey Mexico with bassist Antonio Valdés and guitarist Ricardo Escobar ending an almost eight year long hiatus to breathe fresh life into the band in Helsinki Finland in 2018. Fan filmed footage of the track being performed on 19th August in Helsinki has also surfaced.

Guitarist Ricardo Escobar: “‘Echoes of Silence’ was first composed right after the debut album and even after several reviews and changes it remained stylistically close to the first album. The song is about rejecting the narratives of powerful people, seeing the reality for what it is and learning to live with uncomfortable realities of life. Fast paced riffing, heavy intro and catchy chorus makes this a classic melodeath song.”
