NEWS: Crypta watch as the world beings to decay?

Recorded in Belgium in June this year and engineered, mixed, and mastered by Yarne Heylen (Sisters Of Suffocation, When Plagues Collide, Nervosa) at Project Zero a new single titled “A Portrait of Decay” has emerged via Napalm Records from Brazilian Death Metal merchants Crypta. It’s the bands first with new guitarist Victoria Villarreal and appears ahead of the bands North American tour with Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder in October.

Drummer Luana Dametto: “The video clip is both an almost poetic contrast to the harsh death metal sound but also a cinematic depiction of the lyrics: An ethereal and almost dream-like landscape that represents someone’s true state of being, clear thoughts and light emotions, that slowly dissipate with the passing of time and changing of surroundings, and with the night and a much darker environment, after a while, feelings of being adrift and astray arise, showing that our conditions and time can directly change the way we see ourselves and the way we feel and interact.“
