NEWS: Afterborn get wise with monkeys…

Blending Progressive Metal, crushing riffs and cinematic textures, “Three Monkeys” by Irish crew Afterborn tackles the consequences of remaining silent in the face of injustice, challenging listeners to speak up, question what they see and stand by what they believe in. Believe it or not, it’s only their second ever single…

The band comment: “Three monkeys. What do you choose to see, hear and say?

Three Monkeys is about the consequences of doing nothing in the face of adversity. The fear to speak out about injustice while ignoring the truth that your eyes and ears tell you. It’s about standing up for what is right, just and true even though those around you disagree or ostracise you!

As Mahatma Gandhi said “Even if you are in a minority of one; the truth is still the truth!” And there’s always hope.”
