NEWS: Fear of Domination seek solitude?
Finnish Industrial Metal band Fear of Domination have seen Inverse Records release their seventh full length album “Katharsis” with a new music video opening track “Alone” premiering in celebration. Over the past two decades the band have toured around the Europe with everyone from Deathstars to Amaranthe and PAIN with a national tour for the new record starting on 10th January in Espoo. Don’t sleep on this!
Vocalist Saku Solin comments: ”Katharsis is the culmination of our entire band’s evolution and the rebirth of its members. It’s often said that art requires pain and faith… and this album truly contains both. The process tested us through adversity and demanding production, but perhaps because of that, I am now incredibly proud of us for having the strength to fight our way through it. When we now compare the final album to the original demos, it’s clear that every bit of work and effort was absolutely worth it.
For the songs themselves, we were able to carve out material from Lasse’s pen, some of which had been waiting to be born for years. At the same time, we created our first full-length album together with Anton and Jessica. On a personal level, the biggest thing for me was being able to write songs for FoD again after a long time with my close friends and to share my story through the music. Feel may be the most beautiful song of my entire artist career. At leat one of the most important ones for me.”
