NEWS: Estertor warn of the “Evil Black Church”!

Swedish label Black Lion Records have announced that come 12th June they will be distributing a third album from Spanish Speed Thrash merchants Estertor. Drawing inspiration from the poison well of classic Italian horror films such as Demons, Black Sunday, Aquarius and From Beyond, it’s claimed that “Evil Black Church” is a concept album that explores the figure of the devil in cinema, delving into the demon and evil in various forms and concepts. The record, the follow up to 2017’s “Buried in Morningside” and 2021’s “Tales from the Ancient Grave” is also said to be of a much wider sonic palette, blending Speed Thrash with touches of Old School Death Metal as the veteran musicians from the Catalan Death, Doom and Black Metal scene expand their horizons. While there is no advanced listen from this one there is a track listing and cover artwork from Spanish artist María Panizo (Tenebro, Putridarium, Daemonic) to set the mood.
