NEWS: Horizon of Aeons strike three with “Aedis Tenebrae”!

A third and final advanced single in “Aedis Tenebrae” has emerged from Finnish Dark Metal act Horizon of Aeons ahead of the 29th May release of their debut album “Timeless Forms of Desolation” on 29 May via Inverse Records. A band of vast experience with musicians who have played together in Fall of the Leafe, Ablaze in Hatred, Searing Meadow, Mormânt De Snagov, Leaflet and Jackie’s Land means the record is far from your typical debut. A concept record about time and its relentless progression, it is comprised of songs which explore the inherent inclinations of humanity, the seductive nature of sin and the purifying power of darkness.

The band comments: “This song embraces the brightness of darkness. Evil spirits of our subconscious mind are meant to be cherished. Persistent dark patterns open the gates to a higher level of divinity. Demonic guidance through ambivalent existence. Confrontation with the rigid morality of the masses. The music supports the lyrics perfectly by flowing between different sections and moods. In the main riff, the guitar lines circle around each other, yet never collide. The bass guitar and drums stand firmly in the background, allowing the guitars to summon melodies.“
