Showing no mercy, pity or compassion, Reading based quintet Halloran create music to which the brain says “mosh pit!” and the creaking, battle scarred body says “oh s***!“. Formed in the year of the Red Sea Crisis that was 2023, the band are known for the kind of incendiary live performances that reduce venues to rubble, sharing stages with everyone from classic Punk acts like Open Palms to Hardcore crews like Dispute. Aggressive to the point of being ruthless, they bring together elements of Metal, Hardcore, Punk and Emo to create their sound, as demonstrated with September 2024 EP “Overlook Demos“. In April they dropped sophomore EP “The World is ending and I have no idea how to stop it” as they continue to create songs which tackle themes including trauma and domestic violence by channelling cult horror and science fiction films. Intense, introspective and brutally honest, their material pulls no punches and by describing themselves as “a band that thinks up music and then plays it” it feels like they might be having a dig at covers bands or AI or both… either way, they earned the right. Summer Bash? Let’s f***ing go!

We’re proud confirm that Metal Noise dot Net is returning for a fourth consecutive year as the Media Partner for Summer Bash! Mercury’s Well will be hosting the eighth incarnation of their annual Hawaiian beach party themed event on 18th July 2026 at The Facebar in Reading!
