NEWS: Extinction A.D. need caffeine!

A seventh deadly sin has been unleashed by Extinction A.D. as they continue to empty the vault of material built up prior to their signing with M-Theory Audio. The high octane crossover Thrash crew have chosen “Insomnia” for the purpose which may mean there is one more to appear before they play Within These Walls Festival 2026 on 18th September at The Nile in  Phoenix, Arizona with Outta Pocket, Skin Ticket, Die Young and Will To Live.

Vocalist and guitarist Rick Jimenez: “I can’t be the only one that feels like they’re bombarded with the atrocities of the world on a daily basis, right? I feel like there are constant reminders of human rights violations and the impending doom of the planet and then a ‘brush it off and just go to work’ mentality. It’s difficult to break that cycle but understanding it and raging out against it is my first step. Living life with a PEOPLE OVER PROFIT mentality is an act of defiance unto itself today.

‘Insomnia’ is a very enjoyable song to put together musically. The majority of it is variations on one riff throughout with little nuances or key changes separating it from part to part. I was also able to use the first guitar I ever owned on the interlude section; a scaled down nylon string acoustic Franciscan guitar that I got in the spring of 1992.”
