NEWS: Nobody plus somebody equals?

In something of a break from tradition, Finnish Dark Folk project Nobody have a guest joining multi instrumentalist and vocalist Tuomas Kauppinen over three of four songs that make up a new EP. That guest is bassist Eliel Norkola-Smith with Inverse Records announcing a 12th November date for arrival. “You Don’t Get To Love” is the first taste of this one but Kauppinen is so prolific he’s probably already written the next two records. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp

Nobody mastermind Tuomas Kauppinen: “This is dedicated to all the xenophobes: the ones who hate and fear those who look different, act different or speak differently. It is also an homage to Mali and the ancient Mandinka kingdom whose musicians appropriated the instruments of the gods and introduced them to mankind.”
