Throwback: “Over The Edge” by The Almighty!

Rewinding the cassette tape all the way back to 1993 and the third studio album “Powertrippin’” from Scottish Metallers The Almighty is an absolute must for this weeks throwback to the tracks of days gone by. The record saw the band support Iron Maiden across Europe and also spawned a Japanese only released live EP called “Liveblood” back in the day when every band under the sun seemed to be giving an extra track to Japanese fans and getting those records on import was as rare as rocking horse s***. The band were active from 1988 to 2009 and got to support some big names in their time including both Motorhead and Megadeth, but 1993’s “Powertrippin’” remains arguably their finest hour with single “Over The Edge” today’s track of choice…
