The Black Map #140: Terakai from Reading!

After six years in the wilderness Reading Metalcore crew Terakai made a triumphant return with a pair of brand new singles for 2020 in “More To Say” and “All that Divides“, their first new material since 2014 album “Paradox“. It had been a long road for the quartet whose early days saw them persevering through a tragic bereavement to gather an impassioned fan base, sharing stages with the likes of Sepultura, The Black Dahlia Murder and After The Burial before their surprise hiatus. All that is now water under the bridge with the band set for a proper return from hibernation for Smash Fest at Suburbia in Southampton in March 2021 with Osiah, ChuggaBoom and Gassed Up to name but a few. We’re hoping that they dust down at least one cut from 2010’s impressive “The Last Stand” which features a bounty of neck snappers, while “Fractures Skies” from the aforementioned “Paradox” remains a firm favourite. Welcome back Gentlemen, you have been missed.
