Throwback: “Boring” by Lifer!

Taking inspiration from Deftones, Tool and Faith No More, Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania Alternative Metal act Lifer rose to prominence having entered MTV’s Ultimate Cover Band Contest in the year 2000. They already had a reputation as a covers band regionally being thrown onto the national stage exposed them to a wider audience and a major label deal. An album, an EP and a couple of Movie soundtrack singles later and inner turmoil meant line up changes with guitarist and bassist Aaron Fink and Mark Klepaski joining Breaking Benjamin. Their split lead to vocalist Nick Coyle enjoying a career as both a vocalist and guitarist in The Drama Club, Stardog Champion and Cold while following a reunion show in 2010 the band returned in 2018 to start afresh…
