…After various legal battles the Fear Factory name is now owned by Dino Cazares. Having exhausted their advances on recording an album “Monolith” in 2017, Cazares launched a crowd funding campaign to partially re-record that record now branded “Aggression Continuum” with real drums from Mike Heller and Burton C. Bell’s original vocal recordings. Comprising 10 new cuts, the album itself was produced and engineered by Damien Rainaud (DragonForce, Once Human) with with keyboards by Igor Khoroshev (ex-YES), and programming on two songs from longtime collaborator Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly) while being mixed by Andy Sneap (Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Megadeth) and has artwork from Francesco Artusato (ex-All Shall Perish, Light The Torch). So that’s the good news. The bad news is that Fear Factory now consist of Dino Cazares (Guitar), Static-X main man Tony Campos (Bass) and Mike Heller (Drums) with an unknown vocalist to be announced when touring starts for the record as Bell has burned his bridges with Cazares following the legal disputes…
