NEWS: VHS begin the quest for the mighty riff!

A concept record paying violent homage to ’80s sword and sorcery flicks, “Quest for the Mighty Riff” will drop on 19th May courtesy of Canadian barbarians VHS. They’re joined by a myriad of guests including Aaren Pantke of Molder, James McBain of Hellripper and Matt Harvey of Exhumed and Gruesome as they grind out genre-decapitating Death Punk bangers based on classics like Conan the Barbarian, Masters of the Universe, and The Highlander. To whet your appetite they’ve shared a couple of playthrough videos for “Cleave ‘Em and Leave ‘Em” that get the blood pumping. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.
