NEWS: Confessions Of A Traitor still chase the demons away!

After the announcement of their new album “This Pain Will Serve You” via Facedown Records on 16th May and an album release show on 31st May at The 229 in London you could have forgiven Metalcore quartet Confessions Of A Traitor for taking a moment to breathe. Instead they’ve shared a fourth single from the record, produced by the band and Justin Hill (SikTh, Heart Of A Coward, Hacktivist) and mixed by Lance Prenc (Alpha Wolf, Polaris, Void Of Vision) in “Still Haunted“. Merch bundles and vinyl are available for pre-order here, tickets for the show which will see Swarm6ix join them are available here.

Vocalist Stephen MacConville shares: “The song tells the story of my best friend and how he’s struggled with the loss of his partner to suicide. He holds the memories of their relationship so dear. He is haunted by things he could have done differently to prevent her from the path she chose. Dwelling in a limbo where he simply cannot move on from her, falling deeper into sadness as he is surrounded by all of her possessions.

Speaking on the record, the band states: “This record is a heartfelt tribute to those who have experienced profound loss — to those who continue to grieve the ones they love. It stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, inviting listeners to find comfort and solidarity in faith, hope, and the shared experience of grief. We grow from trauma — we let it serve us.”
