NEWS: Serpent God find a locked door…
Even though the release of their debut album “Denial” is more than a month away, Finnish Melodic Death Doom Metal band Serpent God have pushed Inverse Records into sharing a fourth single from it in “keyhole“. Born from a collection of material written that didn’t fit into the heart shaped box of the musicians main focus Se, josta ei puhuta this new project offers Extreme Metal with influences from Post-Rock, Doom and the avant-garde. Pre-orders for the 10th October via Inverse Records are available over at bandcamp.
The band comments: ”So close to the answer, so far again. One of the most down-tempo songs of the album with crying tremolo guitars. Doomy from start to finish. You can taste the hopelessness and desperation. Slowly but surely the darkness is cradling us all into oblivion. Melancholic piano is the last thing you will ever hear. We all die alone, hiding behind our self-built thrones. “Mechanism in pitting corrosion, I carved my kingdom inside.”
