NEWS: UK Tech-Fest Announce Day Splits, Protest The Hero exit stage left…

You read that right. For the second year running the UK Tech-Fest organisers have been left to find a “secret” headliner with the news, announced earlier today that Protest The Hero have been forced to cancel their remaining “Fortress” anniversary dates due to vocal issues. There has been no word as to whether Norma Jean & Loathe will continue the run with another band in tow as yet, though it’s widely expected given the success of the US dates so far. Speculation about replacements for the UK Tech-Fest slot? Well, Loathe would be an obvious choice as they are doing the other dates on the entire tour and haven’t been announced on the bill. The other band who have announced they will be at the festival at Newark Showgrounds is Eindhoven, Holland’s Metalcore heroes The Royal though they are not on the official line-up as yet…
