The Black Map #23: Dayshifter from Newcastle!

Heading back up to Newcastle for the second time in our Black Map of the Underground UK Metal Scene, it’s time to pay some much deserved attention to Dayshifter. The Melodic Hardcore quintet celebrated their Famined Records debut EP “Hopeful//Regretful” turning a year old at the end of July and have subsequently released ace new single “Serpent Eyes”. Playing shows with King 810 and Loathe while also eclipsing 24,000 listens to single “Of Ghosts” on Spotify have all been huge milestones in the career of a band only formed in 2016. Big things to come? We hope so! For now, the band have a trio of shows with Greyhaven in September.
